Back 2009, the Internet was in a frenzyy when disturbing news broke that Morgan Freeman was still maintaining a 10-year relationship with his step-granddaughter.

Well its been a couple of years, and word is the two are not related through blood, although he was once married to her grandmother.

Morgan Freeman 72 and E’Dena Hines 27 are supposedly in love and sources say that the two started dating when she was only 17. huh, interesting? – Get the deets on the flip…

Back in 2009 we were covering the shocking news about Morgan Freeman and his step-granddaughter. In fact, it was also RUMORED that Freeman wanted half a baby with E’Dena Hines. The news broke when Freeman’s second wife found out about their secret affair Morgan filed for divorce.

Now it’s been reported by The Enquirer, claiming that once proceedings goes through in a few weeks, Freeman and Hines are set to wed.

“Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her,” says a family insider. Another source told Yahoo, “Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal.”

Morgan Freeman has remained silent about the claims that they were dating, and since that time, rumors have continued to swirl – but many sources say that it’s a simple relationship of natural attraction between a woman who appreciates wealth and power, and a man who likes younger women.

Golden Globes To Honor Morgan Freeman With Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement

On Wednesday, November 9th, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that actor Morgan Freeman will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 15.

Amy Adams and writer/director Pedro Almodovar revealed the news during a press conference, reports the HR.

Morgan Freeman, 74, made his film debut in 1964, since then he has graced the big screen with his God like voice and superb presence. Freeman has also given us memorable performances in dozens of critically and/or commercially successful films. His career stretches long and plentiful with films like; Driving Miss Daisy, Glory, Unforgiven, Gone Baby Gone, The Dark Knight, Invictus and his current theatrical release Dolphin Tale and the upcoming sequel The Dark Knight Rises due out in 2012.

New details on Morgan Freeman and his affair with his step-granddaughter have been revealed.

We know this is a shocking piece of news pertaining such a respectable actor, but we have a new updated report that you might want to read.

Here is what we’ve learned about Morgan Freeman and E’Dena Hines, his step-granddaughter. Word is Morgan Freeman is divorcing his wife of 25 years, claiming that he’s been maintaining a relationship with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter for the past 10 years.

According to the National Inquirer, Freeman, 72, was party to an extramarital relationship with his step-granddaughter that began when she was still a teenager. The alleged affair is the centerpiece of the spilt from his wife, Myrna, and led to the break-up with his long-time mistress, Mary Joyce Hays.

The source claimed to be a “close family insider” and explained the details of the relationship between Freeman and his step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines. The actor and his wife Myrna raised Hines, who is the granddaughter of his first wife, “since she was a little girl.”

The source revealed:

“Myrna said E’dena told her that when she was a teenager, she and Morgan went to dinner at a friend’s house one evening. Both had been drinking, and when they returned home, Morgan attempted to have sex with her. They stopped just short of having intercourse.”

“E’Dena explained to Myrna that she stopped Morgan from going any further.”

The actor agreed to leave the child alone after he was confronted by Myrna, but the source insists the two sustained the relationship for years. In recent years, Hines has been Morgan’s date to several events and screenings including the premier of “The Dark Knight.”

The family insider said.

“Nobody thought anything of it, because she would be introduced as his ‘granddaughter.’”

“It’s not technically incest, because they are not related by blood…[but] Morgan is trying desperately to keep his divorce out of open court so all the shameful facts won’t become public.”

Morgan Freeman is about to learn his lesson, because he is trying to save face upon the so-called car accident involving Demaris Meyer. This is not a black white thing, like other sites like to claim and take there. This is the basic fact that Morgan needs to handle his business like a man and not sweep things under the carpet.

A Black woman would beat the living shyt out of Morgan, but a white woman she’s just gonna expose him and get him where it hurts the most….putting the truth out there. that’s the only difference….It’s called taking him to the bank, ladies.

Morgan Freeman is looking for a little lawsuit redemption.

The Oscar winner adamantly denies nearly all of the allegations put forth by an acquaintance who has sued him for negligence after they were in a rollover crash together last August.

In fact, the only thing he admits to is that a crash occurred while he was behind the wheel of plaintiff Demaris Meyer’s 1997 Nissan Maxima, according to court documents filed Friday on Freeman’s behalf in Mississippi.

But while Meyer’s suit states that Freeman lost control of the car after knocking back several drinks during the night, his lawyer argues that they’ll show Meyer was “comparatively negligent.”

The filing doesn’t explain why that is, nor does it address Meyer’s public claims that Freeman hung her out to dry when it came to the postcrash rumors that she broke up his 24-year marriage.

Meyer maintains that she had just met the Million Dollar Baby star earlier that night and that, though she had been invited to spend the night at the sonorous actor’s estate, she was just going to sleep on one of the smaller houses on the property to avoid a long drive home in the middle of the night.

“I had hoped and prayed that Mr. Freeman or his representatives would have set the record straight and cleared my name, but they have not done so and that is why I have chosen to come forward to tell the truth about our relationship,” she said upon filing her complaint in February.
