Mesereau Morns Jackson at Forest Lawn Cemetery Memorial
Micaheal Jackson fans show how much they miss The King of Pop.
But Thomas Mesereau, who fought Michael’s child molestation charges in court for six years ago was spotted today at Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California on Friday morning (6/25) – he walked past the entrance and had to be called back by security guards.
The celebrity lawyer joined hundreds of Jackson fans who streamed into the cemetery to pay their last respects to the King of Pop on the anniversary of his death.
Mesereau was permitted to jump the queue, but he was confused by well wishers and chants of “We love you” – and missed the entrance.
As he walked off into the distance, security staff called him back, stating, “Sir, you can’t go there”.
The attorney and his assistant finally realised they were heading in the wrong direction and turned around.
Mesereau was the first big name associate of Jackson’s to arrive for the sombre celebrations. Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones are also expected to attend the cemetery memorial today.
But Katherine says children are keen to follow in the pop legend’s footsteps. Apparently, Prince Michael’s and Paris are already honing their talents in music and entertainment.
The Thriller hitmaker’s mother was awarded custody of the children when her son died a year ago (25Jun10) – and she is seeing clear signs that the talented trio has a bright future in entertainment ahead.
She says, “Paris loves the piano and she also wants to be an actress… Prince has a lot of talent also, he’s very talented with camera equipment and electronics. He wants to be a cameraman and he wants to write movies.
“Blanket (Prince Michael II) loves to sing and play with his toys most of the time; he’s very young. But he can carry a tune very well. He has rhythm and he can dance.”
Katherine Jackson has flown to the family’s native Gary, Indiana for the anniversary of her son’s death. She’ll unveil a statue tribute to the King of Pop there later today.
