R&B singer, The-Dream took to Twitter to announced that his new LP Love IV MMXII will drop on August 14.

Yes, it’s true, The-Dream’s new album is becoming a reality. This will mark the writer/producers fourth installment of his Love series, and will boasts collabs with Mary J. Blige and Gucci Mane. – Flip and get more deets on the upcoming album…

The-Dream Tweeted:

“LOVE IV is the BEST Album I’ve made.” 

“I don’t care what the sales will be. I will do my best to Challenge your Taste And Knowledge.”

Challenge accepted!

Love IV MMXII is the follow-up album to 2010′s Love King.  In 2011, The-Dream released a free album, 1977, released under his birth name, Terius Nash.

Most recently, The-Dream got into a heated beef via Twitter with The Weeknd. And in 2010, The-Dream announced that he had resigned from making music after the Aaliyah controversy, saying, “Nobody Appreciates Music So Take That.”

Though, The-Dream has  failed to find major success on the charts, he is the man behind some of pop’s biggest hits, including Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, Rihanna‘s “Umbrella” and Justin Bieber‘s “Baby.

Wow, this is a new one, The-Dream and The Weeknd found themselves in a Twitter beef over the weekend after Dream, born Terius Youngdell Nash FIRE SHOTS for jacking his sound during a show at New York City’s S.O.B.’s.

The-Dream unleashed on The Weeknd, but the  elusive Canadian singer-songwriter unleashed a brief tirade, calling the Def Jam artist a “ham burglar lookin’ ass nigga.”

The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye FIRED BACK with this verbal assault:

“ham burglar lookin’ ass nigga… all i need are my brothers and my fans… fuck the bullshit. just gimme that gat damn allderdice god damm it! i’m too turnt up right now!! this nigga is so hood, he thinks my name is the weekender…i was raised old-fashioned, you get at me, i get at you… ain’t no sideways shit about it…”

Shortly after The Weeknd’s response The-Dream posted a longer series of tweets. Dream called out The Weeknd for jacking his style, although stating that he is not being petty, but honest. Nash closed his tweets saying  he has nothing but love, and that he “think the world of the boy.”

“Like my father said. Say ur piece son if a man feel uncomfortable enough a cheat, and a liar will identify his self. Amen. Now I know 4 Sure. I said I was Honest not petty. Joke all you want. Grown Man. Love killed Hate. I’m going to support the movement where if u can’t say it in person don’t say it. Nothing but love from here lil homie. Don’t get fooled or tricked and try to come up on a nigga like me , won’t work just do you if u truly are then what we talkin bout. Now ima leave it at that. Ill call ya phone if you wanna chop it up or if you feel a way. Seek knowledge at all times “if you have a unknowing of a mans true will Use the Word as a tool to unveil the shadow of an enemy….

A judge has finalized singer Christina Milian’s divorce from singer-songwriter-producer The-Dream. Officialized

It’s taken about a year for The-Dream and Christina Milian’s divorce to be officialized by the courts, but as of today the two can breathe a little easier as the long-awaited day is now come.

They are officially divorce as of today. Christina Milian’s attorney Randy Kessler said Monday that the judge in Atlanta signed the final paperwork this month.

Christina Milian and The-Dream, born Terius Nash, were married in 2009 and separated after the birth of their child  in July 2010.

It seems that’s The-Dream’s MO, as he has a child with his previous wife as well. The two have an infant daughter together.  The divorce was resolved by mutual agreement, according to Kessler.

The-Dream dropped his first video “Ghetto” from his free album 1977 today under his real name, Terius Nash.

Milian is best known for songs such as “Dip it Low.”

The-Dream released his free album, “Terius Nash Est. 1977″ last week, and now he has revealed that he may drop a second free LP next month.

The-Dream took to his twitter account to updated fans on the prospect of another free LP.

The-Dream wrote:

Currently The-Dream is prepping the release of his upcoming album The Love, IV (Diary of a Mad Man), due September 20th.

In addition to the new album, The-Dream is set to unleash his new single “T.T.S.” featuring R. Kelly.

Singer-songwriter, The-Dream opened up recently to speak about his tumultuous personal life as of lately and how his divorce from C-Milli has inspired better music.

After, The-Dream and Christina Milian divorce went public and caused him much anguish, he admitted that he has learned from all the marriage problems.

The-Dream, born Terius Youngdell Nash, went on to talk about his personal battles with the SPLIT, revealing that he suffered from suicidal thoughts in an open letter to his fans on his website.

However, The-Dream recently spoke with VIBE to explain that his divorce has had a positive effect on his music and deepened the emotional depth.

The-Dream revealed:

“It’s just allowed me to be more real. I’d rather be the bad guy than anybody else be the bad girl because I can handle it. It’s a bad thing that two people can break up, but the truth of the matter is that it happens all the time for different reasons. But what’s wrong with a public breakup is that they never really know the truth. And I won’t be the person who says it. I’m not going to be that type. If something breaks, it’s not something to celebrate.”

The-Dream on suicide and the open letter to fans:

He says it is “just how my mind works,” and that he’s now in a better place.

“I think it was just how my mind works. You have so many things rushing through your mind and I was trying to figure out how to make it stop. It’s easy to look at someone and say there’s 80,000 different ways for you to deal with it. No. Maybe for you, but me having to one, be in control of every aspect of my life and two, loving people how I do and being so thoughtful… when certain things are out of control, if it’s the type of personality that I have, you start to lean towards the best way to make it end. You already know The-Dream is dropping a free Internet album entitled Terius Nash Est. 1977, before his follow-up album The Love IV: Diary of a Mad Man is set to drop in the fall.

But Dream announced last year that he was NEVER making another LP, guess that was short-lived.

Now, The-Dream say he’s been struggling to find artists to fit into his vision. He also addresses why he doesn’t work with as many guest stars or contemporaries.

The-Dream told fans via Twitter about 1977 last week…

The-Dream explained:

“While I’m humble enough to ask for features it’s really hard to get them.”

The-Dream added:

“It’s hard today to protect what you already have so some artists I see could fit perfectly on a record and change things. There is a fear that artists who are not song-writers face. And that fear is failure.

And I completely understand but I have to at least ask. The people who end up usually on records that I’ve written or performed are more likely the ones without fear. I think it’s my duty to push. But not everyone thinks so.”
