Filmmaker Ruth Hogben collaborates with award-winning musician Kanye West to create a film for his single “Lost in the World”, which features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and taken from West’s fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The video is a pure vision – Hogben’s piece breaks the mould of popular rap aesthetics while still celebrating the extraordinary talent that has made West a modern icon. The video is like no other of its kind and I have to give it to Hogben for really taken control of the visual spectacle and giving us something different in the video world.
100% on target with Kanye’s depiction of a plastic life and being trapped inside with no way out. Love it! – Flip and watch this amazing new video…[Warning: This video contains strobing images that may NOT be suitable for some viewers who get seizures].

David Banner has really out done himself with his new music that he’s been dropping over the past couple weeks.
Banner, one of my favorite people in music, has bringing it back to wicked and sic lyrics with his new video ”Castles in Brooklyn” which feature the Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York native, Maino, born Jermaine Coleman.
The video is simple, cool and fun, and note that is was shot in one day and with a zero budget KarmaloopTV, so they teamed up with David Banner to shoot his East Coast video with fresh motion graphics and fancy camera work. Notice Banner is bridging the gap between West Coast and East Coast rap, by dropping two styles in two hoods on opposite sides of the US to prove his point that it don’t matter where you from as long as you make great quality music.
Gotta love David Banner, born Lavell Crump, great work man, props to ya!
Great job to everyone for putting this video together – cool shit – flip and watch the new Banner video ”Castles in Brooklyn” featuring Maino…

Talk about the day being about Nas, but it is ya’ll.
Nas dropped his video to the new joint [one of my favorite's of his] “The Don.” The track is getting heavy rotation in New York, and LA needs to catch their ass up and jump on this one. He is coming at ya full stride and with two new big singles, his second which dropped yesterday, “Daughters.”
Esco is doing it like he should he is back on track and moving forward. Can I say, have you noticed his music is better since he and Kelis are no longer together.
“The Don,” his best single, in my book, is directed by Aristotle.
Life Is Good drops July 17th. – Flip and check this joint out you won’t want to miss how good it really it. Do I smell Club banger/anthem?
