On June 13th, the dopehouse is bringing Blu out East to share the stage with the homie ANTHM at SOBs. Recently, ANTHM gave a rousing performance at SOBs 30 Year Anniversary at SXSW this year.

The Ethiopian-American spitter rhymes about the legacy he hopes to leave behind in the game. In the process, he showcases a combo of internal rhyme, wit and imagery that will leave few lyrical heads unimpressed:

Memphis, TN artist, June is hitting the scene with his debut single “City Love.”
The Chronic Chronicle style hip hop artist grew up listening to classic soul records from his father, which influences his music. June fuses HipHop/Soul/Rap/R&B with a twist of Pop which he likes to refer to as his own movement and sound known as “Urban Epic.”
I have to say that I’m really feeling June’s “City Love” – It’s refreshing to her cool music that you can drive to. I can’t wait to hear the full debut album.

Duologue are a newly formed four-piece band from London, they made their mark at this years SXSW in Austin Texas and last night at Bardots in Hollywood.
Last night, Duologue captivated the crowd with the hypnotic guitar and electro-sound which is reminiscent of New Order blended with Radiohead. The group gave a superb performance. GBC was happy to be in the crowd and up close with the band. Duologue bands frontmen are, Toby Lee and Seb Dilleyston, The 4 member band makes their unique sound and style come to life with a multi-instrumental sound to the stage. From “Mesmerized” to “All Goes Wrong” the band had me from the first moment.
Duologue is about music, they have a sound that is all their own and that is what is important. Like earlier years in music the band is about the music. It refreshing to see a band like Duologue. Most new bands are all styled and revamped which makes you feel like they are studio made, Duologue is not one of those bands.
Drawing from a broad range of electronic music, guitar, violin, synths and electronics. Their love of ‘band music’ as well as a broad range of electronic music, provides a whilst of never forgetting sound the embodies the need for solid melodies and songs.
