Move over Twilight, there’s a new franchise in town that fans can sink their teeth into and that’s The Hunger Games. And now leading lady Jennifer Lawrence has already become a household name.
Word is, Jennifer Lawrence has already been hailed as the next Twilight/Harry Potter. Lawrence is certainly a star on the rise, she certainly seemed ready for the challenge and stole the spotlight when she showed up at the premiere of the movie in Los Angeles.
Lawrence, 21, turned heads as she walked the red carpet in a shimmering metallic gold gown by Prabal Gurung, with cut-out sides and a train.
Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she had to think twice about taking on the starring role of Katniss, because she knew she’d be sacrificing her private life, according to Yahoo Movies.
She said:
“I’m glad I took the role but I was absolutely right about the privacy. It infuriates me but I’ve got to realise this is my new life.”
“That’s always the nice thing, that all the people who used to ignore me are now kissing my a**.”

One of our first scary movies as a kid was The Watchers In The Woods, starring the legendary Bette Davis, Lynn-Holly Johnson, Kyle Richards, Carroll Baker, and David McCallum. It was released by Buena Vista Distribution Company and to this day is still one of my favorite films.
We just wish Disney would re-release the movie so we can watch it all over again. it’s awesome!
The Watcher in the Woods is a 1980 American-British mystery and horror film from Buena Vista Distribution Company. Based on the 1976 novel by Florence Engel Randall, it is a live action movie that, though predominantly a family oriented work, also contains elements of the mystery, thriller, horror, and science fiction genres.
The story concerns a teenage girl and her little sister who become encompassed in a supernatural mystery regarding a missing girl in the woods surrounding their new home in the English countryside.
Woods suffered from various production problems and was pulled from theatres after its initial release in 1980. It was re-released in 1981 after being re-edited and a revised ending added.
What was you first scary movie as a kid and why? Let us know.
