Last night, the lip sync Billboard Awards were filled with some obvious disappointing performances, like Justin Bieber and Chris Brown lip syncing.
If it wasn’t already bad enough that Bieber can’t sing and dance during a performance, Chris Brown was put on blast by Pink for his edgy performance that was just as obvious he wasn’t singing.
Although, I loved the bikes and the routine dance moves, Chris was off if you watched closely when he performed his “Turnt Up” hit. This years award was not about the singing, but rather about choreography and show man ship…Yawn!

At first, I was hesitant to rush out and see Battleship with Rihanna, but the Barbados bomb she can really act.
Though she plays a hard-edged, no bullshit type of woman in the Navy, the role fits the R&B pop singer. Despite the original controversy over casting a black actor in the role of what is ostensibly a Norse god [i.e., a white character], Idris Elba has signed on again to portray Heimdall – the gatekeeper of Thor’s home realm of Asgard.
Personally, I loved Idris Elba in the role of Heimdall, he added more to the character and gave him depth. Elba recently spoke with Collider about coming back to play Heimdall in Thor 2. Tom Cruise chose a different path for the character of Stacee Jaxx in the film version of Rock of Ages.
Though some may think Cruise has made the wrong choice, he feels strong that it was the right way to portray the rock star in the film. If you have seem the Broadway musical, you will notice a significant change in the character.
Cruise, who saw Rock of Ages in LA claims he didn’t know how to grasp the character like the actor in the musical. He goes on to say he had to find his own way to take on the role of Stacee and make it real. Tom points out he wanted to make Stacee sexy like Susan Sarandon’s Janet in ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
