Ellen Page Signs On To Play Alexander Skarsgard Ex-Lover In ‘The East’
Ellen Page, star of Hard Candy, Inception and Juno is taking a role in the film.
Ellen will be joining True Blood’s sexiest of the sexy vampires, Alexander Skarsgard, who can be currently seen in Straw Dogs and has a forthcoming role in Battleship.
Now Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard have signed onboard with breakout indie actress and writer Brit Marling for her new thriller The East.
Here’s the skinny, the story follows a private contracting firm tasked with protecting big corporations from radical environmentalists and anti-business extremists that assigns its best and brightest agent to infiltrate a mysterious anarchist organization known only as The East.
Marling is playing the undercover agent who ends up falling in love with the leader of The East (Skarsgard), while Page has been set to play Izzy, another member who used to be Skarsgard’s lover and is now jealous of their newfound relationship, according to Variety.
