Don Murphy Promises More Transformers, But Shia LaBeouf Says, He Will NOT Be Returning
Since Dark of the Moon is selling out theaters worldwide, producer Don Murphy has stated a second Transformers trilogy could be on the way.
Producer Don Murphy discussed the future of the Transformers franchise on his message board.
Don Murphy wrote that he is certain another Transformers film will be made, reports TFW2005.
Murphy asked:
“What happens next?”
“Certainly not a reboot. We haven’t lost the Transformers… I don’t know what happens next.”
“I’m pretty sure there will be a second trilogy. I am pretty sure it will kick ass. And I am pretty sure some of you will hate it because it wasn’t all bots.”
Now the question remains if Shia LaBeouf will return or will the rumor of Jason Statham replacing Shia in the Transformers franchise be true, taking the films in a whole new direction?
Shia reportedly said last week that he would no longer be a part of the franchise and would have “nothing new to contribute” to any future Transformers films. Although LaBeouf also asserted that he is sure more movies will be made.
