Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Says Director Michael Bay Is “A Laugh”
The new Transformers babe, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, describes director Michael Bay as a “laugh.”
What a far cry from Megan Fox’s big mistake of revealing that Michael Bay forced her to wash his Ferrari while he filmed her and model skimpy outfits for him in order to earn her Transformers role.
Bay fired back that she “needs to grow up” and owes him her career. It was Megan’s sour comments that got her fired for the third installment and replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has taken the smarter road while working with Michael Bay, she explains to MTV News.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley said:
“I met Michael Bay back in 2009 on a Victoria’s Secret commercial, and we’ve always gotten along. The guy has a great sense of humor, he has a really tough work ethic, which I do. He works really hard, and he expects his team and his cast to be professional and work hard. That’s been my work ethic all along, so we get along fine.
“He’s a laugh. And I love doing the stunts. I think he really respected a girl who can get her hands dirty! We had a lot of fun filming.”
Josh Duhamel, who plays special operative Lennox in all three films, adds his support of his new co-star:
“They got along great. Rosie has a great attitude. She’s a very bright girl. And she’s surprisingly good in this film. Who knew? Talk about pressure, your first job, to come on to such a large movie. The pressure was tremendous and she did agreat job. She’s funny in it. The connection between her and Shia feels very real. I was really proud of her.”
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will hit theaters on June 29.
