Megan Fox’s newest film, Passion Play, has gone straight to DVD!
The once red-hot starlet has starred in a string of box office disappointments, the Transformers franchise, notwithstanding. Now news that one of Megan Fox’s latest films is being shipped to the nearest Best Buy on May 31st….
In Passion Play, Megan Fox stars as an angel or perhaps just a woman that wears a set of wings, who works in a circus. The film, written and directed by Mitch Glazer, also co-stars Mickey Rourke as a burnt out trumpet player, and Megan Fox’s romantic interest (WTF?), along with Bill Murray as a sleazy gangster! This movie sounds like a huge pile of crap just typing that synopsis. Who greenlit this shit?
The film BOMBED at the Toronto Film Festival in September, receiving terrible reviews and viewers openly mocking it before they walked out! Which, I’m sure, is a huge reason it’s set for only a DVD release, no distributors would touch it. In an interview with EW, however, Mickey Rourke absolutely raved about Megan Fox’s acting skills:
“I think the pleasant surprise was this girl who’s a world-class beauty turned out to be probably the best young actress I’ve ever worked with. I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented, but she really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing.”
Oh, give me a fucking break, Mickey! Just come out and say you want to get in her panties, already! That just convinces me even more that this movie is horrible.
