Drake made sure to give credit to The Little Brothers a.k.a Phonte & 9th Wonder as his musical inspiration in his career.
However, Drake’s Take Care album was completed, so it seems that he left Phonte & 9th Wonder out of the mix for his sophomore album. This has caused a bit of a stir, after Drake made sure to thank them at the BMI Awards, which led to Phonte putting Drake on BLAST for failing to keep his word by not appearing on his album.

Chief Executive of Music Entertainment for Sony, Doug Morris, has revealed that the company is looking to possibly acquire one of hip hop’s biggest labels in a distribution deal.
Why, because they smell the green!!!
Morris has reveal that Sony is planning on bidding on the contracts for several labels, but most notably, Cash Money Records is at the top of the list. Sony is planning on making a move once Cash Money’s distribution contract with Universal expires.
