Lil Wayne Reveals The Beef Is Over With Jay-Z And He’s Not Jealous Of Drake
Young Money leader, Lil Wayne has landed the cover for Vibe’s October/November issue.
I have to say it’s one of Lil Wayne’s best photos and even Thisis50, made the comment that Weezy channeled his inner Jimi Hendrix for the shoot.
Since the release of Tha Carter IV and the shots that were lyrically fired at Jay-Z , Lil Wayne claims the beef with Hov is long over.
In fact, Wayne insists he has no real issues with anyone, and admits he doesn’t feel pressured by, and isn’t jealous of Drake’s success. – watch the video on the flipside…
Lil Wayne spoke to MTV News:
“There’s no competition [with any artists]. Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy. … Everybody just happy to do music these days.”
“There are no problems. That sh*t died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun — feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.”
Wayne added:
“I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe,” Wayne said. “But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.“
Do you think Lil Wayne has any hard feeling or is it all love?
