Waka Flocka Says, Jay-Z and Kanye West Comparison Is “Disrespectful”

Thursday, August 11, 2011 · No Comments

Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane Ferrari Boyz collaboration was recently compared to that of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new album ‘Watch The Throne’.

An insulted Waka Flocka claimed that the two styles are too different to try to compare.

Waka Flocka explained to RapFix Live:

“Trying to compare us to Jay-Z [and Kanye] is like comparing Dirk Nowitzki to Larry Bird — that’s disrespectful. That’s like two different classes.”

Even though Waka admitted to NOT being on the rap scene very long he doesn’t feel that Ferrari Boyz collab warrants a comparison.

The ‘No Hands’ rapper added:

“I been rappin’ for three years, those folks got 15 years. I’m happy that my name comes in the conversation — even behind Gucci. At the end of the day it’s all respect; I’m a fan of music.”

Honesty, Waka Flocka should take the complement, because Waka and Gucci are nowhere close to Kanye or Jay-Z league.

Waka and Gucci’s rap lyrics are weak in comparison, so actually the individual who ever said they were close is a complete idiot and proves they no nothing about hip hop and rap music.

What do you think?

Are you a fan of the Ferrari Boyz or Ye and Jigga?
