Prince Announces Los Angeles Concert Dates
Prince has confirmed that he and the New Power Generation will hold a series of 21 concerts in Los Angeles starting later this week.
Prince will discuss the dates tonight on TBS talkshow Lopez Tonight, marking a rare television appearance.
The gigs kickoff on April 14 at The Forum in Inglewood. Tickets for all three nights go on sale Tuesday (4/12) at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster, according to promoter Live Nation. Details about the remaining 18 shows haven’t been revealed. Ticket onsale information has been released for three of the 21 “Welcome 2 America” shows he’s planning for The Forum in Los Angeles.
In an attempt to make attendance more affordable, ticket prices are being dropped to $25 for many seats. According to a press release officially announcing the Los Angeles stint, 85% of all tickets sold will be priced at $25, including all service fees.
At $25, I can afford to see every show!!! Just another reason to love Prince.
