Twilight’s Breaking Dawn Too Hot For PG-13; Originally Landed An R Rating
We told you months ago that the studio was having issues with Breaking Dawn and how to approach the R Rated content, since most of the viewership comes from teens under 17.
Well, during an interview, Bella aka Kristen Stewart revealed some details about the steamy sex scene in Breaking Dawn, and said that it originally landed the movie an R-RATING!
Kristen Stewart spoke about the explicit scene, which was initially too hot for PG-13:
“It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!”
“It was very surreal. We [originally] got rated R. They re-cut it.”
An equally thrilled Edward aka Robert Pattinson spoke on the development, which is well-known to readers of the Stephenie Meyer books.
Pattinson said:
“I’m looking forward to the pillow-biting scene.”
“I thought that was so funny. Of all the random things to do, really? He bites the pillow.”
Damn, that’s the cut I wanted to see. We knew it was slated to be an R Rated, film, but then most Twi-hards would NOT be able to go, so they are cutting out all the nasty parts for the teen Twi-hards! Boooo!
Hopefully, then release a director’s cut on DVD/Blu-RAY, so the adult fans can see the true version of the film.
I just hope it doesn’t ruin the context and integrity of the book. Crossing our fingers. Could you imaging the Riots of Twi-hard girls crying because they could see Edwards icy cold butt! Gesh! LOL….
Will we ever get to see the R-rated cut of Breaking Dawn???
