OMG; Don Cornelius Committed Suicide?
I don’t know how to pout this or how to say because I’m a little shocked at the news about Soul Train creator, Don Cornelius.
I heard Don Cornelius had passed away today at the age of 75, but I just found out that law enforcement are saying it seems he committed suicide. What pushed him over the edge that he killed himself?

According to TMZ, “Soul Train” creator and father of soul, Don Cornelius apparently took his own life. His body was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, CA home earlier this morning.
Law enforcement sources are saying it seems he committed suicide. The cops discovered the body at around 4 AM PT. Cornelius died from a gunshot wound to the head and officials believe the wound was self-inflicted.
Cornelius was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It’s rumored that Don Cornelius was very depressed over the recent allegations, so he committed suicide denying the battery allegations. – Officials have notified Don’s family.
Don Cornelius changed the landscape of television when it debuted “Soul Train” in 1971 and ran until 2006.
It was reported by FreddyO back on December 5th, that the TV entrepreneur who created “Soul Train” was in court Thursday and pled not guilty to charges on his domestic dispute case. The case resulted in Cornelius’ arrest back in October. Charges against the 72-year-old Cornelius include three counts of spousal battery, one count of dissuading a witness from making a police report, and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
Last month he was also ordered to hand over all of his firearms. While authorities never officially identified the alleged victim in the case, TMZ notes that since the October 17th incident there have been two restraining orders filed against Cornelius by his estranged wife.
I’m speechless. R.I.P. sir you will be missed. What a loss……………….
