Drake apologizes for his questionable performance at the BET Awards and the horrible video that Kanye West is so proud of, as he was the director of Drakes official “Best I Ever had” video. The point we will make right off the cuff is that Kanye would never do a video like this for himself..Like we said before established rappers in the business do things to keep the newcomers in their place and sabotage their career’s if they don’t know any better. Drake open your eyes man!
Drake we just want you to recognize the problems as they can only get worse unless you nip it now. BET and you hopefully will never do anything this bad ever again! Funny how Weezy is quite about the whole thing, go figure!

Roll the post over……….
It’s been no secret that Drake and Lil Wayne’s ‘Every Girl in the World’ performance at the 2009 BET awards was not only awkward, but offensive to several thousand people. Let us repaint the picture for you. Drake, whom recently tore his ACL, performed his hit single ‘Best I Ever Had,’ while sitting on a stool on the side of the stage. Fast forward a few minutes later and an energetic Weezy, followed by an entourage of what some have joked were “Degrassi extras,” flooded the stage. These four little girls, who couldn’t have been more than 12 years old, were later identified as Lil Wayne’s daughter and her friends.
Amidst a semi-somber night of M.J. tribute performances, the act seemed shrewd, senseless and downright confusing. The subject matter of the song is definitely not appropriate for junior high girls to be on stage bopping around and creating impromptu routines (which is exactly what they did).
With all of the negative commentary the performance has received, BET recently released a statement:
“BET Networks deeply regrets the performance by Young Money at the BET AWARDS ’09 (featuring Lil Wayne, Drake, Gudda Gudda and Mack Maine).” “Elements of the performance were unplanned and should not have happened.”
Drake also felt compelled to tell his side of the story and released the statement below:
“That…was a terrible idea that I’ll never do to myself again. But I was being pressed from different areas to perform, and I think what really happened at the BET Awards is with the passing of Mike, the climate really changed, as far as the award show goes,” he told Complex. “I don’t think it called for us to perform “Every Girl” and “Always Strapped,” and I think it was an award show filled with tributes and music and these genuine heartfelt speeches. And to sort of climax out of a very tongue-n-cheek point, and then people misconstruing Wayne’s daughters and her friends coming out on stage — it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn’t planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is. I believe in Wayne and myself and it’s nothing we can’t bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn’t intended to offend anybody.”
Yes, you’re right, Drake. It was a very bad idea, but it’s good to see an entertainer owning up to his mistake. Whether or not BET was aware of Lil Wayne’s kiddy entourage planning to rush the stage is up for speculation, however we don’t honestly believe that the execs would allow such nonsense.

Way to go Drake.
